The Solas A Series Portfolio is designed for account sizes of $100,000+ and is traded and tracked internally using the following capital and risk per trade:
- $250,000 capital allocation and 0.25% risk per trade

The A Series is an aggressive portfolio and is designed to be used by experienced traders who are chasing outsized returns. We are currently trading this portfolio at 0.20% risk per trade.
The M Series is more conservative portfolio as it has less instruments in its construction. The portfolio is designed to allow traders to experience using systematic trading techniques. We currently run this portfolio at 0.25% risk per trade.
The % risk per trade is determined by each trader taking into account their capital and risk profile.
Example:
We are trading the M Series Portfolio on $100k live capital and take 0.25% risk per trade
$100,000 x 0.25% = $250 risk per trade
Using a % risk per trade means the performance results are parametric as your position size will be adjusted in line with the capital under management.
